Shell Cottage (from Harry Potter)

This is my attempt at Shell Cottage from Harry Potter, the dwelling of Bill and Fleur.



It is a beach lot designed for a couple with 3 children and maybe 1 other sim. There´s a small garden behind the house and an even smaller pond in the front. The cottage is toned mostly in washed-out colors, only the attic dedicated to children is in contrasting bright colors. The roof is clearly visible from inside the attic but all the objects there are functional and no sim / roof clipping occures.



I tried to mix the look of the cottage in the Deathly Hallows movie trailer and the description in the book. The main change is that I didn´t build it on a cliff to keep the lot more versatile. (There seems to be no cliff in the movie either, but if you still want to have it on a cliff, you can place it at 500 Sunnyside Blvd in Sunset Valley, the cottage will blend in nicely there.)
Then there´s the 2nd floor layout - there should be 3 tiny bedrooms upstairs according to the book. I tried that out and it gave the second floor very claustrophobic feeling, so I left only 2 bedrooms there and added an attic instead.Other than that it should more or less match the descriptions. (I hope you won´t mind the changes too much… )
